Received NFS 2 Soundtrack...

...from a generous person, I'm very thankful to him. NFS 2 is fully complete!

NFS 1 music is still in a 64 kbps bitrate which doesn't sound horrible but I'd like to get it to 128 at least. I have put a NFS 1 song in 128 kbps but it doesn't improve quality because the extra bitrate isn't being used so it sounds exact same as 64 kbps. Any suggestions?

I have the NFS 1 and 2 in this. 1 is still in a low 64 kbps. 2 is in 192 kbps. I'm wondering how I could get 1 in 128/192 before I put it out. Any suggestions? The source WAVs say it's in very high bitrate but just sounds like a 64 kbps WAV. Do the developers do this purposely so you can't get high-quality songs extracted, etc.?

Try CDex:

It can decompress the mp3 files and you can set kbps and kHz like you want. It can compress it to mp3 again.
